About Event

Startup Summit 1.0 is a student-led initiative aimed at fostering collaboration, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The summit features five flagship events: Pravartan, a pre-summit ideathon workshop; Thalir, an exciting startup pitching session; Tharanga Sangamam, an interactive talk with leaders from academia and industry; BharatBuild, a Low-code hackathon to create impactful prototypes using AI tools; and FinSmart, a team-based financial strategy challenge to solve real-world problems. Come be a part of this journey which has just begun!

Events

Pravartan – A pre-summit Ideathon Workshop where you will learn to pitch your ideas to the investors during the main Thalir event. Only the shortlisted students for the Thalir event are eligible to attend the Pravartan Workshop

Thalir – An exciting Startup Pitching Session where budding entrepreneurs showcase their ventures and pitch to a panel of experts, mentors, and investors. Team of 2-4 persons of multi-disciplinary departments.

Tharanga Sangamam – An interactive talk series featuring inspiring stories and lessons from founders, innovators, and leaders from academia and industry. This is an Individual event.

BharatBuild – A low-code hackathon where teams leverage AI tools to design innovative prototypes that address real-world challenges and showcase problem-solving skills and creativity with minimal code. A team size of 1-3 members.

FinSmart – A team-based practical money management and financial literacy workshop where participants craft financial strategies, balance budgets, and pitch impactful solutions. A team size of 1-3 members.

Workshops

Pravartan is a pre-workshop designed to help participants learn how to pitch effectively to investors. It serves as preparation for Thalir – The Startup Pitch Event, offering guidance, practice, and feedback to refine your pitch.
